Primary Schedules could be one of the following:
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (1 Position)
2:00 PM -10:30 PM (1 Position)
Five (5) day work week
Variable Days Off
Responsibilities:
The Service Provision Specialist is responsible for assuring the quality of services provided to the consumers and recommending and implementing changes that would improve delivery of services. The Service Provision Specialist reports to the Service Provision Supervisor and is responsible for assisting service provision with scheduling, data entry and telephone contact and with direct care worker and consumer duties. Service Provision Specialist may be responsible for ensuring provision service to all consumers so as to ensure living plans and goals to maximize independence and control of their lives.
This includes but not exclusive to:
- Assures quality care to individuals with disabilities through efficient scheduling of direct care (caregivers)
- Provides competent and comprehensive oversight to all staff fulfilling TABS (Time-Attendance-Billing-Scheduling-System) related data and systems management, thus assuring and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of all TABS related data in a timely manner. On a ongoing basis is accountable for TABS related critical control points
- Schedules work time of direct care workers while ensuring utilization of approved hours and monitoring direct care workers overtime
- Works with Service Provision Supervisor on priority scheduling needs
- Will provide assistance with daily Santrax approvals, monitoring of consumer safety through dashboard tool and other TABS related duties as assigned
- Maintains communications in a professional manner with direct care workers, their approved contacts, consumers and approved family members in enhancing these business relationships
- Requires a commitment to quality and effective utilization of resources
- Responsible for accurate data entry of consumer and direct care provision activity
- Keeps Service Provision Supervisor informed of significant problems that jeopardize the achievement of objectives, and those which are not being addressed adequately at the service delivery level
- Establish and maintain effective workflow priorities while functioning as part of the comprehensive team
- Must maintain a high level of dependability, including attendance at work and punctuality and integrity
- Assessing, recommending and implementing changes that would improve delivery of services.
- Training and provision of direct care workers may be required

- Must be available to a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and some overtime
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED
- Associates or Bachelors degree in a Business field or Human Services preferred
- Experience and/or training in providing personal care to individuals with a disabilities preferred
- At least one (1) year experience in human services field preferred
- Two(2) years scheduling and data entry experience in a fast paced environment preferred
- Scheduling, call center or high volume telephone experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- A winning attitude, strong work ethics, sound judgment, and a high energy level
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a private vehicle for day-to-day job performance due to making home visits requiring frequent local and occasional state-wide travel. The Agency also requires a Motor Vehicle Record Check.
- In accordance with Federal and the state of Pennsylvania regulations governing facilities/agencies that offer care-dependent services, a facility/agency may not hire an applicant nor retain an employee required to submit a criminal history report if the criminal history report revels a felony conviction under The Controlled Substance, Drug, Device and Cosmetic Act or a conviction under any of the Pennsylvania Crime Codes. In addition, any felony offense under Chapter 39, of the Crime Code (relating to theft & related offenses), or two or more misdemeanors under Chapter 39 will prohibit hiring of the applicant or retaining the employee. Agency requires a Criminal Background Check (may require an FBI check as warranted) as well as a Child Abuse History Clearance at the time of hire and periodically throughout employment.
