Happy New Year! A new year means a new beginning. Often, being a caregiver or someone who is cared-for can be a trying experience. You spend much of your time worrying about others while forgetting to focus on yourself. This year, make a promise to add yourself to that growing to-do list! When you take care of you, it makes taking care of other things a whole lot easier!

Here are some easy ways to incorporate yourself into your busy days:

  • Meditate
  • Read a book
  • Listen to music
  • Start a gratitude journal
  • Take a walk/roll around the block
  • Schedule a BFF date
  • Learn a new recipe
  • Perform a random act of kindness
  • Moisturize your skin

  • Look at the stars

  • Take deep breaths
